The Dhekiakhowa Namghor was established by the medieval Assamese saint Madhavdev in 1461. The highlight of the place is the earthen lamp which has been burning for centuries. Unfortunately, this place no longer looks historic and attracts only locals.

It is one of the best preserved and highly respected Bornamghor, established by Vaishnava guru Madhavdeva. I have seen the good development of the place since last two decades and recent beautification has added more respect to the place.
