Its mind blowing spot where you see the water falling from the heights. One should wait till noon tobget the clear view.

I would say that generally best time would be July and August for Jog Falls. June, July and August for Murdeshwar and Gokarna being in proximity to sea shore.

I am planning to Visit Jog falls this July. Travelling from Mangalore via Shimoga. How much it takes from Shimoga to Jog falls by Car? Is bus available? What is the best way to go?

The distance from Shimoga to Jog is about 120 kms. takes about two hours by car. There are buses to Jog from shimoga. From the Jog bus stop you can take an Auto/taxi. If you are travelling by bus to Shimoga, then you can... More

If it rains during or perhaps prior to your visit, that will be great. Else as others said, after monsoon or during Monsoons. That is June/ July/ August
