100 CNY entrance per person is on the high side. You get nothing for it, just admission. If you want to make a boat trip, that will cost extra

Beside having your meal inside Xitang. You could go outside to eat too but made sure you have still have a valid ticket to re enter into Xitang again. It would be good if you can stay 2 days there if you like to slow...More

definately worth a days visit from shanghai. centuries of preserved culture. cheap vendors for trinkets and food. the bus station near the shanghai railway station will take you there for 70 yuan. stunning gardens and architecture
