Not a lot to talk about. The church itself is a nice example of parochial construction in a smaller Portuguese city. Very practical simple, yet beautiful. Worth the time to just drop by.

This site wasn't open when we went but it is interesting site non the less. It offers a great view of the river. It conjures the history of the area when the Templar Knights were guarding the area from the neighbor Moorish people. The whole little village is fantastic but this is the highlight.…

If you are on the way to Tomar you can stop by this small village. The old tower and the square above the lake make a good spot for photos. Drive all the way up to the tower you can park up there.

If you are around Tomar or Fatima.., please, make a break to visit dornes and enjoy the pure nature turned by the lake! Really wonderful, just on sunday unfortunately, you can't visit the tower, but even like this, i am sure you will get has reference during your stay in centre of Portugal …
