from Chennai 58 km. easealy acceseable by bus. awesome place with anceant monument. the shore temple,five rathas,arjuna penance, bhagirath descent, monkeys hair dressing,krishna s butter ball and so meny .

Very interesting sculptures. In whole Mahabalipuram there arw few things to see , all iqual interesting. One day to stay in these city is enough to visit it all. Shopping streets arw full of kashmir shops, and some local shops.

tickets are easily available at the counter. Also one ticket will allow you to go to all monuments. Don't think you need to go the online way.
