I had been to triveni sangam on 8may. 11 of us went in tempo Traveller from Varanasi. One need to hire an entire boat or can take common boat. Initially they demand rs.650/- per person but you can bargain up to 50 to 100 RS per person. Boatmen tend to discourage other boatMan to agree to your terms but don't... More

Meeting point of the Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati and a sacred place in Hindu belief. Taking a dip in this water is believed to purify your sins. Lot of pilgrims in this place and boat rides are available. Sunrise view is good.

The water was clean and healthy. Ganges with its merging rivers is the best site to see. During sun raise and set the color changes due to the reflection. Good time to do Surya namaste.

It has the charm and beauty as explained by others. Its been my 2nd visit to this place (1st time long ago), it felt different this time. I also performed Pinda Pradan for mom. It seems they are little costly, but its ok, I felt like donating money (as much as my pocket supports ☺). So overall its a decent... More

Taking a dip at Sangam is a must do pilgrimage for Hindus. Government must oganize and regulated the boatmen, their tariff and establish visible water safety measures. Pundits trying to get you to do some pooja are a pest. Nevertheless, the experience of the dip is worth it..
