More than 2500 years ago, the Buddha declared "Impermanence Rules!". During Sui Dynasty (more than 1600 years ago), one of the most prominent Chinese Buddhist sect, named Tiantai Zhon, was born here at Quoqing Temple. Yesterday, I toured the temple for the first time. This entire area is great! I also lived here for 3 years. No other lao wai's in this very small town. Anyday is wonderful rain or shine. When its hot, many natural springs and waterfalls to play in. Its heaven on earth. If you come here stay at the victory hotel, its very western, and go to the guzhou KTV.... More

This is a very old temple that is really worth to visit. I was there quite early in the morning and I was almost the only tourist there, so the feeling of authenticity was absolute, since it is still used as a monastery. I don't know if it will be crowded later in the day.
