The garden is lovely and the collection of orchestration boxes is pretty cool, but the admission of 1500 yen feels too high for a garden you can finish exploring in 30 mins. The fare drops to 500 yen in the evening, so I recommend going...More

As a family which didn't really like theme parks etc, we thought this would be a relaxing stroll in a park with some classical music. It turned out to be much more than that. Spread out over a few European style buildings, you are able...More

The day was cloudy and there were few tourists. We enjoyed punching holes on the cards. When you slot into the machine, and pull it the out, you get a nice Christmasy tune! There is cafe you can visit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Check...More

I’m not a big music fan but still find this place very interesting. There are beautiful old music boxes rarely seen and remember not to miss the performances. Well worth a visit.

This attraction was not in our original itinerary but my bro-in-law highly recommended us to pay a visit. Finally we concluded the visit is worthy. Positives: 1) Beautiful landslide and scenery. 2) Exhibit vintage musical equipments. 3) Superb musical performance. 4) Big souvenir shops with...More

For the money $15 full price, it’s not worth it unless you have a coupon or there’s a floral event/attraction going on. Some really neat old large music boxes to see. Large gift shop. Short water fountain show. There is a restaurant.

I did not know about this place before arriving at Lake Kawaguchiko. It is a museum about music, with automatic instruments (mainly from Europe). It is not a traditional japanese experience, but it was completely worth it. There are some shows/presentations happening. The drawing in...More

We initially came here because we thought it sounded interesting, at the gates we noticed the price being 1500 yen each, quite high in comparison to many other attractions we've been to in Japan. So, we looked it up on Trip Advisor, mostly good reviews......More

Consider that this town has nothing except the magnificent view of Fujisan. So around the lake where you can see Fujisan they need to construct something. Something for people to visit and have nice corners for photo. This place is more on the music boxes....More
