We thought the 800 yen entry fee was rather a lot considering the quality and quantity of the works. Expensive and not good value compared with other Japanese galleries. Our disappointment with the art was somewhat lessened by the superb architecture and siting of the building.

Visited on a clear crispy spring morning. The view from within the gallery of Mt Fuji, with the cherry blossoms in the foreground, were awe-inspiring. Inside the gallery was the best display of Fuji art i have seen anywhere in the world. Expensive entry fee yes...but the art that was on display, the view and the overall surround Zen feeling,... More

This museum / art gallery had an amazing collection of hair combs and pins that are exquisite. While everything is numbered there is no English translation of what the pieces are which really detracts from the experience. The museum only has 3 exhibition halls and costs 800 yen to get in which makes it an expensive attraction.

great place to see a wide variety of mt fuji insprired art pieces. loved this gallery with fantastic presetnations in paint and photography of mt fuji in all seasons and colours.
