The ice cave itself is nothing but a disappointment. Expensive for an incredibly short trip. I went during late November, and was expecting to see what the pictures displayed, ice illuminated by a blue light reaching from the floor to the roof. Instead it was...More

This was a stop on a tour to Mt. Fuji. We walked inside the cave for about 15 minutes. The guided tour was in Japanese. It probably would have been better if I spoke Japanese.

We thought we'd go check out the ice cave after having it mentioned by our host. It wasn't to bad, just really short. By far the best part was witnessing one fella trip down the steps.

Bring a jacket or windbreaker because it gets cold in the cave. Its short but interesting to learn about. You can buy a cheaper pass that includes both the ice cave and the wind cave.

Wierd, wild and wonderful underground caverns filled with ice or as one child with us called it "subterranean icebergs". It only takes a few minutes to see and is worth the stop.

We happened to be in the area and decided to check the cave out. It wasn't bad, but was expecting a bit more. However, I have to say the attendant was extremely helpful and provided great advice as we went into the cave. Additionally, we...More

We took to this place because we have some time left on our Kawaguchiko day trip, even though it's a bit far away, it's still an interesting one as this was a cave used to keep ice blocks in the old days. The tour itself...More
