It was a nice place to spend the evening. You may not get water front seats - but you can see from any seat.

Great host, show was lacking in true storyline so the kids got a bit bored. Food was ok... nothing to write home about.

The setting is breath taking and the food is superb. The show is vibrant and one feels part of the show with the dancers coming onto the restaurant to interact with the guests. The only less positive thing I have to say is that it...More

Overall was okay but very pricey for what you get. Slightly over commercialised and wished I had gone to a more lowkey island night. Food: lamb wrapped in taro leave is a must try, dessert was nice. Drinks were quite exspenive.

We visited Te Vara Nui for the buffet and show and thoroughly enjoyed both. The buffet featured local specialities - the highlight being the ika mata - as well as standard fare. The show was excellent: top-notch music and dancing. Dessert was great as well....More

I've been reading more. Evidentally, there are coupons in brochures around the island for a discount on the dinner, etc. I guess you just have to look for them when you arrive.

Apparently it's busy each night it's on. We went on a Saturday night only because it was the only night we could go.
