A proud local and family owned business. Louise and her two daughters are certified chocolatiers that make hand crafted chocolates. The chocolates and toffees are made on site in small batches going right from the cooling tray into your hands. A quaint little place that smells of freshly brewed coffee and chocolate... most of the chocolate is made right in the shop! The chocolate does melt in your mouth! Staff is very friendly and welcoming along with chocolate they also see different oils and seasonings for dips and sauces... a must go! Covid precautions are also very safe :)

As a chocolate lover, I couldn’t pass up the chance to visit this adorable shop. It didn’t disappoint! Even through my mask (covid precautions) the smell of chocolate was heavenly. The store was very well laid out and offered not only in-house made chocolate treats but also had other local temptations. Don’t forget to have their hot chocolate! The service was friendly and welcoming. Yum!

I have been to Manitoulin Chocolate works a few times over the past 6 years and every time find something new to try. The staff are very friendly and more than helpful with anything you may need. I would definitely recommend checking out Manitoulin Chocolate Works!

We dropped by the store while visiting the nearby farmers market. Such a cute place packed with everything to satisfy a chocoholic! Fudge, chocolate bars - candy - it was all great! We loved the chocolate covered raisins and almonds. Staff was super friendly. When we came back from the farmers market, there was a lineup out the door!
A definite must see when in Kagawong. Prices are super reasonable too and everything was delicious!!!

SO pleased to return, still as incredible as 3 years ago. Simple perfect ingredients. Must-have individual chocolates: raspberry and citrus fillings. Almost all individual chocolates are gluten free and staff are very knowledgeable about this.

Well I cannot believe that there isn't a picture posted of their treats they make..this is an annual sometimes two time trip for our weekly stay..chocolate made onsite..coffee...other unique candy too..great gift to take home ..if it makes it home on the long ride back to Ohio..I only wish i lived on the island as this would be my dream job and would have to work there making truffles..or how about Ohio buckeyes??

Try the iced coffee and buy some of their handmade chocolates. The shop is very nicely done, with an attention to the detail, there is plenty of different types of excellent chocolate - particularly liked the salty caramel one.

Beautiful little boutique shop filled with so many sweet handmade treats and friendly staff! We loved everything we tried and can’t wait to go back. The iced chocolate is a must try, the caramel/chocolate popcorn with candied nuts is SO decadent, the chocolate river rocks were as beautiful as they were delicious and the raspberry chocolates were divine.
