This place is very impressive, there is no entrance fee and to walk around and read all the information is realy very emotional. After reading parts of the stories told by survivors of this camp was very emotional. With tears in my eyes i left this camp, it will leave a mark on my soul for the rest of my... More

So my family came here in 1943 and we were so excited to come here after seeing an advertisement on the radio! We got off the train and were greeted by a very rude man in uniform but the kids loved it! We were taken through the gates and didnt notice the gate being locked. I approached one of the... More

We got a taxi here from Gdansk it was 350zloty which on the exchange rate we go was around £80 the driver stayed and there was no limit to how long we stayed. We stayed for around 2 hours it take around 45 mins to get there from central Gdansk. It's free to go in there is a cinema which... More

Having visited auschwitz a few years ago i was interested in visiting stutthof during a visit to Gdansk. Its a moving but interesting museum and many of the original buildings still stand. Its free to get in but if you want a guide you have to book in advance but walking round at your own pace is fine, a lot... More

A very thought provoking day away from Gdańsk. Informative permanent exhibitions about conditions in the camp, and detailing the experiences of those imprisoned there. And a particularly moving temporary exhibition about art and poetry in the camp.

As previously stated really easy to get to from Gdansk and a few reviews down has really good instructions of how to get there! Only a small portion of the concentration camp left compared to what it would have been like but still very poignant and moving. The lady at the information desk was very lovely and helpful, said we... More

Went in January and the snow made it feel very surreal. Bitterly cold at -3c. The camp is very well presented with many of the old buildings stil intact. Lack of English translation was a problem but you get the gist of the message. Also no English speakers on duty in the information was a surprise. On Mondays in winter... More

After reading some of the reviews on here we decided to make the trek to Stutthof. The museum was very informative and well organised, you will probably need a few hours to explore everything on site and take time to reflect. We purchased an English guidebook for 4 Zloty from the information office but didn’t really need it as it... More

We were staying in Gdansk, and really wanted to go to Stuthoff, I'm neither Jewish or religious, but still wanted to see what evil people had done to others because of this or even simpler things. For a free entrance museum, and your into this type of historical site, I would go, if your not it could be hard going.... More

There is a bus that takes you from Gdansk and comes back 3 and a half hours later, which is the perfect time to see everything. Don't spend loads of money on a private bus or a tour, it's unnecessary. It's free to get in, but please make a donation. You have to visit here. It's horrible. I honestly have... More
