Part of the ancient city that is very good conserved. Still in original shape and still being used. It is amazing to walk here and see the old wooden buildings.

I originally looked for an apartment in this area, it was so quaint, rustic and relatively quiet. Linhai is a biker's town, as long as you are engaged in grooving music pumped through great earplugs, while constantly vigilant of chaotic vehicles coming from all directions....More

Nice old part of the city but most of the shops sell tacky souvenirs, some interesting bakeries. Pretty much everything closes down around 5pm - same time as the wall, so go earlier in the day. Only a few places open in the evening -...More

I have been coming here for years on business until someone finally took me to the old town . It is definitely worth a visit . Houses in very narrow alleys from as early as 16th century surrounded by a fortress wall . Definitely worthy...More

Walk from end to end of Ziyang street and you will experience a wealth of tastes,smells and sights. So much so,it will leave you returning to relive the experience.
