beautiful and quiet day at the beach with lots of great bars nearby in the quaint fishing villages. Heard others say that there were better options but it was close to our villa and definitely worked for us.

This time of year there’s no where open and once you’ve dipped your toes in the water then that’s your lot. Salema is pretty run down and needs a major facelift - unless you enjoy resorts unspoilt by progress.

Unfortunately, what once used to be a quiet fishing village, has now become an increasingly ugly background of concrete layered apartments. The beach is still an enjoyable attraction with enough surf to attract a younger generation.

I nearly didn't write a review as don't want too many people to find this beautiful beach. We love it there and a measure is the friendliness of those who go there. Beautiful sand and great water. Buy a little parasol from the shop and...More
