Got up early to make our way to Praia do Castelejo to catch the low tide and was amazed at the beauty of this place. A stunning broad sandy beach backed by soaring cliffs and crashing waves. We were there the end of May and...More

A phantastic place for surf lovers, with great waves! Unfortunately the surf school has very a poor service and on top of it charging well above the exposed price list. Therefore watchout!!!

After a long narrow approach road you arrive at an absolutely breathtaking beach with the windswept mist of the surf and wide beaches sheltered by high rock formations. The sand is smooth, clean and soft. The water is clean and lively with waves and you...More

Me and Becky love this place as the Atlantic waves crash into the rocks at the edge of the golden sand. Is a secret haven that all of the surf schools seem to love

Really beautiful beach with decent waves. There are a lot of surf schools performing their lessons but it's still enough space because the beach is quite big. The rocks are keeping out the wind and also during hot days there are not that many people.

This surfers beach is incredible! Loooooong sandy beaches, amazing rocks and huge waves, but watch out, the sea is literally Freeeeeezing and the undertow is very strong. Amazing beach restaurant with fresh fish and lots more, the best food we had this holiday was here.
