The town of kamouraska is very popular - the spot was popular, especially during nice sunny days. The beach is nice and few benches along the beach make for nice places to relax and sit.
The sitting area at the harbour is well made and definitely a nice spot to take a break and maybe stretch your legs out if you have had a long drive or just wanted to get out and enjoy the day.

It also makes for a nice picnic spot.

Excellent area to relax, picnic, observe the beautiful St Lawrence River. Table , benches are available and lots of parking spaces….A nice walk along the shore line is great way to finish the day

Kamouraske used to be one of the most important summer resort towns in eastern North America. Tourists would travel to and from by boat, train, etc.
The warf was an important facility for the tourist and fishing industries as well as a place to catch a boat to one of the islands.
The old warf was partly restored by locals as demonstrated by all the name plaques.
Great place to sit and feel the wind, the sea and dream of days gone by...

Lovely stop along the Route Verte. Picnic tables available under a covered pavilion. Kayaking available on the beach nearby. Beautiful views of Baie St. Paul across the river.
