We played here one week before the PGA Sr tour and in the rain and it was still great. Fast greens and fairways even in the rain. The course was beautiful, the views were fantastic and golf staff were helpful and polite. We were absolutely pleased to have had the opportunity to play this course. I can't speak to the... More

Played the Mountain course Wow wow great. But building a building estate which is killing the course quality well this is due to the place going bust. Kills the crows and experience ,pool to part of the north Langford estate very crowded with children on site not Westins pool?. Need I'd for drinks two forms photo,no blenders at pool bar... More

We tried most or all of the restaurants, the spa, the pool and got excellent recommendations from the concierge for our Vancouver island adventures away from the resort and it was all great. After a day in Victoria followed by a great hike up and down the mountain we unwound at the fire lounge. That was the perfect way to... More

I'm happy we payed twilight price to play this...there are way too many blind tee shots, and on 13 I had no idea where we were going, if other golfers I was seeing were on our hole or not. I have a lot of respect for Jack but I think he had a couple of scotches too many when he... More

My family loved playing this course. The views are absolutely spectacular. It has gotten much more expensive though, we were told they are trying to minimize the number of people playing while maximizing the revenue.

Part of our summer golf vacation trip our group had a pre-planned trip to Bear Mountain. Good tough golf course, once, but no longer. New owners have reconfgured at least one hole and have a army of earthmovers and construction workers building other sundry structures, high cost houses no doubt. Driving range also not available, though a net is. Although... More

Took advantage of the twilight rate and played this beautiful course. It is quite challenging, with blind shots, difficult rough, and fast greens. The course was in excellent condition. Pace of play was very good. The marshall was friendly and helpful. Stop after completing #13 and take a picture of the panoramic view of Victoria. Amazing. Pro shop staff was... More

Enjoyed playing both courses. GPS on the carts, great staff, the greens were rolling smooth and the course in pristine condition. Just a little less rain and warmer weather temps would be nice. Can't count on perfect weather but the golf was outstanding.

This was our third trip to the Bear Mountain Resort - it will probably be our last. Service and quality control have certainly slipped. Our suite in the Fairways building was certainly spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. However, we kept finding remnants from the previous occupants or from the cleaning staff. We had two breakfasts and a dinner... More

Why didn't anyone tell me about this course sooner. Our 4 some had a blast playing here. Yes there was a construction zone in a couple of holes but thankfully to tripadvisor I was aware of it before we went. Overall this was the best course we played during our trip. Compared to even the valley course (which is great... More
