The little art gallery that could - well worth a stop
Aug. 2020
So much great art, exhibitions change every 6-8 weeks and there is a mix of community, members, group and solo exhibitions. For a small gallery the variety offered is fantastic, they also host numerous events throughout the year including the under 100. Also there is a coffee shop next door so treat yourself to a beverage and a delicious slice of carrot cake while you are there.

Great Art Gallery and Fabulous Coffee Shop Share a Space
Oct. 2017 • Couples
This choice little gallery in the neighbourhood of Winfield just on the north side of Kelowna, is a small gallery that punches above its weight with well-known artists and challenging shows.

The day we stopped in the show was titled "Man Overboard" with artists, Rose Braun, John Hall, Joice Hall, Michael Hermesh, and Deirdre Hofer.

It is well worth stopping in to see what's on display. As an added attraction, there is a great little cafe/ coffee shop sharing the building.

Loved it
Dec. 2016 • Couples
It was the first of many visits to the gallery/shop/cafe, with very friendly and engaging staff. My wife is already planning our next visit for artistic inspiration(and purchases). Worth checking out. We found it great is a couple.

Gallery, Coffee House & Gift Shop

What a fantastic place to bring family and friends. We took a leisurely stroll through the gallery before having an incredible latte in the coffee house. Afterwards we visited the gift shop, and put a large dent in my Christmas list!

Came for the Art Walk and started here!
Sep. 2016 • Friends
Great variety of art with all pieces relating to the Art Walk theme, "Off the Rails." No "two-second glance" pieces in the show. Nicely selected, arranged and displayed. A nice gallery, attached to the coffee shop. I visited both!

Lovely local art
Sep. 2015 • Family
Layout was great for viewing each piece, the current pieces were gorgeous (many varieties in style), and the little gift shop was a great bonus! The gift shop is all local contributions - artwork, art prints, jewelry, cards, photographs as well as a selection of art books. It is attached to the coffee house and more artwork can be found in there. There are also a few art studios in the building beside it where you can look in on artists' painting as well as their work displayed.

The gallery offers many varied shows throughout the year plus an art shop, a book shelf, classes and workshops. A very stimulating place to hang out.

Not your regular country gallery
Jul. 2014 • Solo
Lake Country Art Gallery is fast becoming a hub of the community. The amazing high quality exhibitions are thought provoking and inspirational. Artists busy themselves in the studios and classroom and the gift shop is overflowing with locally created art and crafts. If you love art related books and magazines the Art Shelf is a great place to pick up super books for a few dollars while supporting the LACG programs. My last visit was the summer Art Bazaar where I purchased baked goods from a local church group and enjoyed the Lake Country sunshine paired with fascinating hand made items at the booths.
