A beautiful minster, clean and tidy well looked after, can't understand why they want to charge £5 entrance fee, places of worship should be free or given the opportunity to donate

This is a wonderful cathedral! It is surrounded on all sides by lawns and trees, along with graves and headstones. I don’t think it is a ‘beautiful’ building: words like solid, large, impressive come to mind. It has a traditional layout with nave, transepts, choir...More

This is a very Norman place. It looks more French than English. Situated just east of Nottingham, this is perhaps the most peaceful cathedral I have ever been in. Everyone was kind and helpful and the carved stone leaves a true wonder.

Called in for a coffee - spacious restaurant with plenty to choose from if required. Could have a better attitude with some of the staff but apart from that well worth a visit.

A great place for a quite visit. Unlike many nearby cathedrals they do not charge a ridiculous amount for entry. The building is not intimidating but is full of history and heritage. There was an art exhibition on during our visit with some top class...More

Southwell Minster is a wonderful piece of architecture and well worth a visit. If you want to take photos inside the building there is a charge of £5 but it's well worth it.
