Unique opportunity to cruise the lake that separates USA and Canada. Lovely homes of all sizes, some islands only just big enough for the home on the land. The Bolt Castle is amazing

We were there while the St. Lawrence was flooding and the visitor center still closed, but we walked around anyway where there was no water. While the visitor center was closed, we drove the entire length from Prescott to Gananoque. We tried hiking at Jones...More

At one time you could camp here, not any more. Camping area closed. Beach isn't maintained, over grown... but still has a place to picnic. Bathroom facilities, boat ramp, children's play area...

If you have a boat and are around 1,000 Islands, this is a great national treasure. Check the website and information for all the options for docking, swimming, camping at one of the many islands in the park. Had a grand time exploring. Yea! Canada....More

Truly a wilderness campground. Had a blast kayaking in the currents and tubing in the river. Even the scuba drift dives were a blast.

I believe at least 1,000. Some are only big enough for 1 house!
