This was a very nice venue that started with drinks and servers proving snacks followed by the fire ceremony and native dance. Food was excellent and service staff was outstanding. Performers came around to take photos and chat with customers. Allowing guests to the store...More

We did this along side the Kuranda trip. So we stopped in the morning and our tour guide offered face painting and then took us to throw boomerang and spears. That was really fun to throw them ourselves. We were given a great presentation about...More

When we arrived at the Centre, the foyer area was breathtaking, we were escorted to an area for drinks & canapés infused with native flavours, this was followed by face painting as the Dreamtime story unfolds. We were then led to the dining room for...More

This was a good way to learn about the culture of the Aboriginal people. They started by face painting anyone that was interested in native appearance. My son liked that. The activities were hands on where we learned how to and did some spear throwing...More

The night tour of Tjapukai was really brilliant. The night started off with Canapes and a few beverages. Then the entertaining education of the Didjeridoo and the Fire Experience was absolutely fantastic. It is sad that it took me a trip to Palm Cove to...More

Tjapukai is adifficult one to review. Yes, we enjoyed our visit but it all felt a bit awkward. So it is all about the aboriginal culture: why then such a modern day office architecture like facilities? You can only visit by following a 2,5 hour...More

We have a group of 10 people visiting Kuranda Rainforest on 03rd June. They would like to visit in Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park and then take Skyrail Rainforest Cable-way to Kuranda & return take Scenic Railway down to Freshwater station at 03:30 pm. Our clients also have in a Scenic Reef Hopper Flight that morning with pickup at 08:00 am & drop-off to Smithfield Terminal around 10:00 am. How much time is required for visiting the cultural park. If my clients take cable car at 12:30 by what time they will reach Kuranda. I read somewhere they will need 1 1/2 hours for this. The clients would also want to have in lunch out there & if you could suggest in a restaurant in local Kuranda village which caters to Indian Food. Does Frog Restaurant provide some Indian Menu. Please reply immediately as our clients are definite to arrive on these dates. Thanks

Hi, there is a large car park that is rarely full. Otherwise the Skyrail car park right next door is also very spacious.
