We had a really good time on the full day trip on Chantara. Was not too sure what to expect when we got on as quite a few nationalities on board. We found the whole experience very relaxing with swimming/snorkelling time on the beach at the fantastic 'Flip Flop' bar with the 'Chantara' special cocktail! The food was excellent with... More

The tour began with pickup from your hotel. When you get to the pier, you are greeted by the captiain who welcomes you and about 35 others onto a long-tail boat. The boat is beautiful- all shining teak, with pillows scattered around to lay on. You are handed a beach towel to use for the day, and you claim a... More

For those people who burn easily, if you don't get a spot in the shade right away you will get torched. I would say that half of the room on the boat is shady, but the other half is full sun. So get in early to claim a shady bit! We enjoyed the trip but the cook certainly needs to... More

What a great day we had with Marco and his amazing crew as we spent a full day on the coolest boat in Samui. First of all the pick you up and drop you off! We got lucky as the weather was perfect and the water was calm. This trip is simply getting pampered for 8 hours while you cruise... More

We were a private group of 40 on the junk and all participants without an exception rated the day as 5 stars! The boat is really typical, beautiful and comfortable for 40. The staff was really kind and professional. Food and drinks, etc. were perfect and the experience awesome! Oh, and by the way, Eric (the boss) made our event... More

This was one of the most incredible experiences to date! The most romantic, beautiful, breathtaking experience. So relaxing sitting on the deck of this beautiful, charming boat, and watching the sunset - highly recommended. We thought that would be where it ended, but the food was the best food we have eaten on our entire trip to Thailand (I'm not... More

A smooth operation from start to finish. Professionally run and definitely worth the money in our opinion. We're so glad we went with Chantara!

Yess! Great experience for me and my gf!!! We've been sailing with Chantara Junk boat for an incredible new experience in the warm waters of Koh Samui archipelago. Chantara is a traditional burmese wood boat, beautiful as a sculpture or an artwork, and enjoyable as the hospitality of the Captain and the crew was. Half day was sunny, half day... More

Chantara Junk Boat tour offers a fabulous day out, cruising around the entire coast of Koh Phangan. The tour begins with hotel pick up at about 10.30 and takes you to the port. As the Chatara was out of the water having some work done, we were on the Siamtara which is used for their private tours and is lovely!... More

Chantara Junk Boat offers you an amazing cruise around the beautiful Ko Phangan. The boat departs from Big Buddha Pier around 11 - 11:30 am and the return is around 7 pm, after the sunset if the clouds allow which unfortunately they didn’t on our trip. During the cruise, the crew offers soft drink and an excellent Thai lunch is... More
