BEWARE, you will walk for 15 minutes on very high cliff to go down to the river, and they will not tell you about it until you got there. They will take 20 zar which is nothing for the photos and videos, then they will send you nothing. So bring your own camera with waterproof.

I would never recommend it to a friend. The water was still, you have to use your arms to get some speed. It's boring, annoying and depressing. The activity is overpriced. You are going to waste your money and your time.

With water levels extremely low this year, the tubing was not as exhilarating as it could be, but the guides made it fun and we had an enjoyable half day. I would definitely recommend the full day (we tried but were unable to do it as we were the only ones that day) because you will get to the end... More

Very nice activity of about 1h30 in the water. Team is fun and take care of the participants. We were a team of about 10 people but I think it can reach 25 people in high season. Landscapes are beautiful but not amazing. The price is quite high but it was worth to pay about R500 for that.

So relaxing and a Must do!! Not really knowing what to expect, we were driven up to a point in which we were given all our gear to head down the river. The river itself was a beautiful tea colour and not too cold. The half day adventure wasn't dangerous or required much physical strength at all but there were... More

We booked the half day Tour, around 43€. One day prior the tour start, the tour company requested us to join on tour earlier, 9 instead 10.30. ok. Anyways, as the river was in low water it was rather a easy swimming trip with hiking meanwhile, as it was adventures. The company should not sell the tour for the full... More

We went on the water tube middle of Jan and had a great experience. It drizzled the night before, the water was great and full like in the pictures. In fact, it was fast and we had to balance ourselves not to fall. There are many big stones in between, you have to be careful to keep your feet up,... More

I would pass on this. It's run by some people who work in a hostel and they drive you up a road and have you hike down to a very slow moving river with your tube. The say that there are jumps for people to do but its honestly only two jumps . one is a small 2 foot jump... More

We did the half-day adventure with Blackwater tubing and it was amazing. They provided us with a wetsuit and helmet, the only thing we needed to bring was shoes. My tip is that these shoes will get wet/muddy etc, so make sure you take shoes you are ok with getting ruined. We started off with a car ride to the... More

Having been informed of the low water conditions due to a severely dry year, we undertook the trip with open minds in terms of expectations. Even without adrenaline-inducing rapids, the cliff jumps along the way added plenty of excitement for the braver souls and we all found ourselves in awe of the lush and nearly untouched beauty of an otherwise...
