Great site to visit on the way to Bodrum or as a day trip from Selcuk. There is parking at the entrance of town, a short walk takes you to jthe site and offers a view of the ancient road used by the pilgrims on their way to see the Oracle.

We visited this temple as part of a private tour of Priene, Miletus, and Didyma. I was interested to see it because it was the fourth largest temple in the Greek world and also it housed the second most famous oracle after Delphi. Wider than the Parthenon and as long, it did not disappoint. It had 122 columns about 8... More

This is a must see place if you are in the area. A magnificent ruin. The size of the place is what amazes you. It is over 100 metres long by 50 wide. The standing columns are over 30 metres. Supposedly it was going to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world but it wasn't finished went... More
