There isn't a lot to this small reserve but you don't want to miss the 2:00 feeding time. The monkeys, tortoises and deer climb all over each other to get to the food pile. The animals are not afraid of humans and they walk next...More

This is an interesting close-up view of the green monkeys, local deer and tortoises. Animals roam around freely and are not at all afraid of people. Although you should never reach out to touch wild animals, they come very close to you. I got some...More

A fun place to visit...this was our 2nd time. You'll see some interesting animals like mara and brocket deer, lots of colourful birds, iguana, tortoise and lots of green monkeys! Feeding time is at 2pm and you must see this! Right next door is Grenade...More

Our family with two kids aged 6 and 9, loved this excursion and kept us busy for a few hours during our tour of the island. The hiking trails provided a great energy release but bring plenty of water as it is humid. Be sure...More

Lots of interesting wildlife to see, but try to time your visit to coincide with feeding time at 2:00 pm, when the abundance of fruit tempts some of the shyer residents out of the shadows, and the antics of the monkeys get comical. But be...More

Better paths and exhibits since we were last there 10 years ago. Green monkeys steal the show. Interesting signal station located there, great views from the top.

Went with my ambulant but disabled daughter. We were the only visitors which gave the place a sad feel. The walkways and paths are made from old brick stocks and are very uneven. The paths are all up and down and quite steep in places....More

Go for 2 pm for the feedings. The tortoises and other animal come in for the food. We saw some animals we had never even heard of before. They have some caged animals (the iguanas, snakes, birds) but most are free to run. We even...More

There was no gift shop per say but I think they had key chains & small trinkets for sale once paying at the entrance on the side where the drivers gather.
How are the mosquitoes in the reserve right now? Trying to prepare with all the talk of the Zika virus. Thanks!

Hi all, Does anyone know what the hours of operation and cost for the reserve? Approximately how much time is needed at the site?

Too late for you but maybe will help others. 1-2 hours is enough, entrance was BDS$30 each (US$15). All places accept both currencies.
