Barbados Catamaran Snorkeling Cruise

Sail the Caribbean waters of Barbados’ west coast aboard the El Tigre schooner on this fun half-day cruise, with transfers. Enjoy free-flow drinks, including rum punch, beer, and juice, and a light snack as you inhale views of palm trees, beach, and ocean. Stop for guided snorkeling at a reef known for turtle sightings and a shipwreck that’s a vibrant marine habitat. Upgrade for a longer adventure, with lunch.

We spent an entire week lounging on Miami Beach. Friendly people to rent chairs and umbrellas from, nice folks selling soft drinks, beers and snacks in the parking area and close proximity to shops and restaurants. This beach was a 5 minute walk from our rental. Turquoise water, bright sun and white sand, who could ask for more?

Miami Beach has become a very popular beach with tourists and locals. There is a lot of natural shade underneath the trees. There is a lady on the beach who rents sun beds and parasols there is also a gazebo on the beach where you can buy sarongs and beach towels. There is a toilet block and changing rooms that close at 5pm however there are also some outdoor showers. There is a yellow bus that used to serve snacks and drinks but when we went it appeared closed and the chairs all chained up. We did notice that there is somebody doing food and drinks further past the outside showers we didn’t go ourselves so can’t comment on what is served or price. Also there was a lady selling soft drinks from the roadside where cars park. The sea can be rough at times with some big waves but there is also a side which is very calm where locals take their children. The planes coming into Barbados fly above the trees in the afternoon so if you like plane spotting perfect location. We did notice however a local man begging for money and cigarettes regularly every day which put us of a little. After saying that when you said no he soon moved on but it’s not what I expect when I come to relax on a beach.

We stayed in Barbados 14 days and basically every day we spent on Miami beach. We've visited other beaches as well but didn't find anything better. The best part about this place is a lot of shades, clean and calm water.Safe for children. There is a washroom (always clean) and showers, parking space for car . There is a lot of small fish that swimming just near your feet, which is amazing. We even saw a sea turtle couple of times. Sand is like a flour, very soft.

Travelling during the winter months from Canada as you may guess the biggest part is the search for a beach. As we traveled the Barbados we found many beautiful beaches however, Enterprise was by far the best for sunning and swimming. There are trees which offer great shade, a shower house, food of all types within a short walk. Enterprise Beach offered one very important feature, a SANDY BOTTOM! Though we found many beautiful beaches, they all seemed to have sharp rocky areas..
