- R C32 contributionsBarbados Miami Beach GORGEOUSGorgeous beach, lots of parking but can get crowded. Beach and ocean activities at location. Caspers Restaurant is on top of the hill. Great food, prices, and friendly service. This beach is another gem on this island. If you are driving, food is not too far away.Visited December 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten January 6, 2023
- MiaCopenhagen, Denmark134 contributionsLove itLovely beach with fine white sand. You can rent sunbeds & umbrella for BBD 30/$ 15 for 2 beds & umbrella, make sure to rent from Rosalin, sweet lady with the white umbrellas. Cash only as many places on the island. Waves can be quite strong some days and some days there’s a bit of seaweed at the shore. Other than that turquoise water, plenty of room for shade under trees. There are outdoor showers and toilet. Weekends the food truck was open. Otherwise Casper’s (cafe) is right there and very recommended- CASH only as wellVisited February 2023Travelled with friendsWritten February 11, 2023
- travcan44Charlottetown, Canada32 contributionsChair rental lady is a beach bummerBeach is beautiful and many local food options close by. Lady who rents chairs is difficult to deal with. Was constantly watching us incase one of our children sat in the chair. 350 pound guy beside us on a chair but I couldn’t have my 40 lb kid sit on the front to eat his lunch. Also would constantly come over to tell our kids to stop touching umbrella. My daughter put her hand on it, again people had their heavy book bags hanging off it and you are going to come harass us for this stuff. She had an obvious problem with families. Every time you turned around she was staring at us like a hawk. We eventually left as she was making our time un-enjoyable and our kids uncomfortable. Go to any other beach if you have kids. We had an excellent week and went to many beaches with chair rentals and didn’t have a single issue. The lady who rents at Miami needs to get a life and let people enjoy their vacation.Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten February 27, 2023
- Sunnylover15London, United Kingdom44 contributionsBeautiful beach in Oistins - go visit!Miami beach is great with locals and tourists enjoying its offerings. The beach is clean with white sands and great views. There are two sections, a shallower part and a deeper wider part where the loungers are, also people sell clothing etc on that section. There are beautiful trees to enjoy and shelter under if you choose for relaxing or a picnic. There are food sellers and close by is the famous Oistins fish fry where you can buy lunches and dinners and be entertained -particularly Friday and Saturday nights. There are also market sellers nearby and you can try tropical fruits and veg.Visited December 2022Written March 5, 2023
- GodsgloriousworldLondon, United Kingdom4,058 contributionsShame about the seaweedThis is my local beach when on the island. Recently there’s been a lot of seaweed so I’ve been going further a field but when there’s no weed it's lovely. I bathe on the gentle side but there’s a ‘rough’ side for the more adventurous, strong swimmers. In the morning there's lots of people exercising both individually and in exercise groups. The showers always seem to have really warm water, love showering here after my swim. There’s a lady called Alison who’s very lovely and sells fishcakes on certain days - Mon, Tues and Friday’s I believe. (Other fishcake sellers available but Alison is my favourite). Short walk to Oistins town centre where there’s a bakery, food stalls, KFC, Chefette, supermarket etc.Visited February 2023Travelled with friendsWritten April 21, 2023

This beach was a stone's throw from our hotel, I have just booked a turtle/shipwreck snorkelling session and was very surprised by the 1* reviews for this beach - so I figured I should update it.
It's paradise!

So sad to see our favourite beach totally clogged with seaweed. Used to love this beach and the great fish cakes.

Miami Beach in Barbados is a must-visit destination while on the Island. It doesn't get too busy and the crystal-clear water and soft sand make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Highly recommend it!

Hi all
Anyone who has visited recently (or who is there at the moment) be able to comment on current status of the sargassum on Enterprise?
Thanks!

There is no sargassism on this beach right now there was some earlier in the year and early June but has gone away now. I go there 4 times a week.

As a frequent visitor to Miami beach I would like to ask why the garbage is not collected more often? Sometimes the stench overwhelms the beauty. Barbados Tourism needs to monitor this problem.

There was a change in government ,unfortunately I understand there is a lack of funds and the sargassum seaweed has once again inundated the beaches, especially on the east/south coasts. The government seems to be more concerned with the situations on the West/Gold Coast and less so with the rest of the island.

Would love to visit Enterprise Beach. Mom is in a wheelchair and can only take a step or two. Is there am area that is wheelchair accessible?

Hi there , it’s a sandy beach I’m not sure you can push wheelchair onto it, we parked on the curb and had to take few steps down to beach , I think most beaches you will struggle to push a wheel chair
A lot of complaints about seaweed and smelling at Miami beach. You're the last post, how was it and I don't like trinket shopping, what kind of shopping here? We'll be there next week, first week in February. Thank you. Lorie

I have been to Barbados in april and February, there was no seaweed there in april but during the week of February we had two days but it wasn't all day. Barbados is a beautiful country and we love going there next year will be out third time so I know it doesn't answer your question for October but hope you have a great trip and Miami beach is clean and has everything there for you
