We trekked for a few hours to get to anse major beach. After snorkelling and sunbathing we called the boat taxi. The beach has a sign with the boat taxi number on it so very easy to make contact with the taxi. Within 15 mins...More
After the hot and pretty gruelling hike to Anse Major we arrived at high tide with very little beach left for the number of people there. A quick snorkel revealed very little to see and the swell made it unpleasant. Just when we thought we...More

From Beau Vallon beach itself you can find many offers of boat rides. Your hotel can help too. We paid 1500 Seychelles Rs for an hours ride by Happiness. Apart from Beau Vallon which is the most popular and hence crowded beach, there are many smaller beaches like Anse major that are quieter. You need to explore.
There a beautiful beach near Bel Ombré ( Anse marlieu?) which was our favourite.
Have a good trip.
