We lived in Bacolet Bay, so this was the closest beach to us. It's very peaceful and small. The restaurant there offers some amazing fries- cheap!

Visited this beach while staying at Blue Haven Hotel. Didn't go swimming as the seas were a little rough. However it's a nice private location to sit and relax and hear the crashing of the waves.

This is a nice beach located not too far from Scarborough. There is a 110+ steps walk to the beach if you are not staying at the Blue Haven Hotel. Also the parking is not the best so try to go as a group so that you'll be able to park if there are a few vehicles there already. However... More

Very good beach for sports playing beach goers since there is plenty of sand to enjoy. The water is nice and warm, yet rough, so you need to be extremely careful as to how far you're venturing out in the water, as there were no lifeguards on duty. At my time of visit there were a lot of seed weeds... More

This hotel is slightly faded Colonial but well worth a visit. Sit on the balcony of your room with a view of tropical gardens and the cruise ships coming in to the capital. Food is very good with an evening menu and buffet breakfast. Lunch is served by the sea in the bay from a wooden bar and grill,

It's a ok enough beach...no life guards...and the water gets a bit rough sometimes...but the view is good and it's a nice relaxation spot for family and friends.

You will see this beach signposted from the road as "Bacolet Beach" Down the steps to the sea. Soft sand, beach bar a laid back ambiance and a beach bar and some sun loungers. I think the name Blue Haven Beach comes from the nearby hotel. The stairs to the beach are off Bacolet Street between Rockly Bay in Scarborough... More

Although, the area is quite picturesque, it as wise as it is prudent to exercise care in and about the water. The winds as well as the currents are strong.

We stayed not far from this beach and apart from the weekends when the locals arrived to play football we had it to ourselves. It is the Beach that Robinson Crusoe came ashore in the DeFoe Novel of the same name:) The Beach Bar has a limited menu but the food was excellent, home cooked and had great flavour. A... More
