"Cead mile failte" Welcome to Sea View Equestrian, where you are warmly invited to experience our beautiful and peaceful corner of the Dingle Peninsula. We are situated in a small townland called Ballydavid a Gaeltacht (Irish speaking) area, only 5 minutes from Dingle town. It is known as one of Irelands most unspoiled gems. Our riding stables are to be found right underneath Mount Brandon where we boast stunning views of the Three Sisters and the Atlantic Ocean. Set on our farm that has been handed down through generations of family, we have kept the tradition and authenticity of the place going, with old stone buildings and stories of what it used to be like. Horses are our passion but we also keep a number of sheep, so depending on what time of year you visit us you may see lambs, shearing or the sheep dog rounding the flock up! At Sea View Equestrian we offer something for everyone, fabulous daily treks and riding holidays, small and personal groups, riding instruction, livery, training, clinics, competitions, farm and educational tours.

We can't thank Sean and Martina enough!! What a fantastic ride on a most glorious day across the stream that was in the movie Ryan's Daughter and into the most beautiful valley. The scenery was breath taking, almost too much to take in. Sean was close at hand to support the ride as needed, but he gave you plenty of... More

We took our two young granddaughters aged 7 and 5 for their first real riding experience today. They both had an amazing time riding lovely sure footed gentle horses. Sean and Aaron were so kind and out the girls at their ease in the first 5 minutes. We walked through the beautiful glens to a lovely stream. The girls were... More

I went with two other people for a one hour ride in early July. None of us had ever ridden a horse before and it was a perfect first experience. The guides were extremely pleasant and very helpful in preparing us for the ride, and walked alongside our horses as we rode through the beautiful valley. We had great conversations... More

My wife and I took the one hour ride with Sean on a Saturday morning (we made the booking with less than two hours notice). Despite it being a cloudy day with a little drizzle, we had a wonderful time. The valley is stunning and on horseback is a great way to see it. The horses were patient and steady... More

Our family took the one hour ride. I'm sure my daughter (the only experienced rider amongst us) would have loved to have done one of the longer rides. We had a great time and highly recommend Sea View Equestrian to anyone visiting the area. The horses were sweet. The owners were friendly, excellent guides who shared tons of interesting information... More

We joined as a group of 7 including a 5- and 8- year old and my mum who was pretty scared to go on a horse. The experience was perfect and couldn't be better! The crew was fantastic with the kids and everyone including my mum loved every bit of it. The scenery is amazing, the horses and crew are... More

Katy graciously went out of her way to help us arrange a next-day horse riding trip for myself and my 4 year-old daughter. When we arrived the next day, we were met by Sean who showed us around the farm a bit (even taking us to a horse-stall where we met the cutest newborn puppies) before introducing us to our... More

We didn't notice the warning on the web site that this was an English Saddle Horse ride. We were not prepared for that style of riding and so were not allowed to do the Ocean front ride. We did however spend an hour riding over the mountain. It was raining during our ride. But you cannot fault the business for... More

We took 2 kids (age 5 and 7) on an absolutely stunning 1 hour trek up the valley above the stables. Sean was delightful. He also gave us a demonstration on his sheepdog and flock which was brilliant!
