We walked to the museum and shop from the centre of Bardolino. The museum was free to enter and very informative . The best part however was the shop and the gorgeous wine and oils on offer. A lovely place to pick up high quality...More

A small, well-organised and informative museum with the added bonus of being free. Obviously they hope you will spend lots of money in their shop but as this is packed with all sorts of Italian goodies this is so easy to do.

Leaving Italy, we made a quick trip to Bardolino to see Lake Garda. Our Verona tour guide had recommended this museum as a nice stop. Parking was easy since we arrived early. Tour, though a bit duplicative in parts, was free and informative. Tasting (olive...More

We walked from Bardolino today to visit the Museo dell'Olio d'Oliva in Cisano. Sadly when we arrived there, after walking past cars parked on the walkway by the side of the road forcing us to walk ON the road, we found ourselves in a very...More

Nicely presented information on oil cultivation around Lake Garda. Tasting available. Large variety of pure olive oil as well as oils scented with other herbs. Entry is free no need to purchase but the display in the boutique of the museum is irresistible.

The museum is quite small but if you're interested in olive oil production I can highly recommend it. The shop is great and ideal for little gifts for family and friends. Easily accessible with a car.
