A small, but very nice beach. We went there twice. We suggest choosing the orange chairs/umbrellas. The blue ones are managed by a loud Greek "mamma", who dominates this part of the beach. She is very bossy, constantly telling people where to go...

The water was nice and perfect for snorkeling! However we did get an all in all bad vibe of the place, because it was very crowded and as soon as we approached the there was a greek lady forcing us to rent her sunbeds and parasol. She first tried to charge 18 euros and we then ended up paying 15 euros for a parasol that was so worne out that it did not even cover the sun properly. Also one of the sunbeds was broken and covered in bird poop…

Close to Amoopi Beach but slightly less crowded and with small pebbles instead of sand. Nice place to snorkel.

A very good option when it is very windy on the island. This beach is close to Pigadia, is organised and ideal for people who like snorkelling. Convenient as there are restaurants above and cafes to drink one coffee also close to the bus stop. Better to avoid in high season as beach is full with local families and many tourists. Better to enjoy in June or September, if weather is good also nice in Oktober.

Amazing beach with pebbles outside and rocks inside the water. Organized with umbrellas but not so much space to put yours. Very clean water and rocky surroundings.

Only way to access is by 2km road with poor surface (uninsured with most rentals). Only 1 cafeteria serving 2 lovely beaches but with no shade you have to get a parasol. All taken by 11am

Staff is great, and will make you feel right at home. Food is Greek. Greek food is great....in Greece. But soon you start longing for less fries and more spices. No surprises here, but food is well made.

Pebble beach ..
few rows of umbrellas..
30,00 euro an umbrella and 2 sunbeds .,..
Pass a lady to collect (then bring you the receipt... more view) ..
The only sore note is invaded by Greek-Americans,
I put myself everywhere without caring about your space..
very noisy ..
There is a staircase leading to the restaurant Calypso, ..
Ample parking (avoid wild parking, strange but make fines)

Pebble beach with crystal clear water, lots of fish; great for snorkeling! It must be said that the water is so transparent that you can see the seabed even without a mask!
You can also access it in flip flops, with rock shoes you are more comfortable if you go exploring!
There are sunbeds with umbrellas costing €20 (there is a sign on the right as you go down the steps), the price has increased over the years reading the other reviews, but in any case I have always seen everyone pay without batting an eyelid and most of the time it comes given the receipt
A lady comes to collect the payment 2/3 times a day in fact it happens that those who arrive at 5pm have to pay the full price (illogical in my opinion) in fact more than once I have witnessed discussions about it
The lady also works at the mini market near the Calypso restaurant (I don't know if she is the owner) and I couldn't describe her as nice
If you don't want to pay for the sunbeds you can stay on your own towel but try to stay as far away as possible from the deckchairs in the front row
There are no showers or bars on the beach
Restaurants and cafes are located above the bay
The car can be parked in the places facing the sea towards the bay with the sand or around the coffee maker in front of the church
The one facing the bay is reserved for the Calypso restaurant

A pebble beach with beautiful clear blue water. A parasol with two beds costs you €30,-, very expensive compared to other beaches on Karpathos. The lady who manages the cots is very coercive and likes to control things. We would recommend another beach on Karpathos where the beds are cheaper and which is probably just as beautiful (almost all beaches are beautiful).
