A literally perfect beach. Plenty of small little coves interspersed with a few resort-type mega beaches that I’d recommend avoiding. The water is so clear that you can see your toenails in 5 feet of water. Nudity is an accepted option on ALL beaches on Formentera but most prevalent on the Migjorn side of the island away from the ferry port side of the island, where there are a lot of Ibiza day trippers. So feel free to be nude on the beach no matter where you are - many think it’s important to sustain Formentera’s nude beach heritage in the face of the Italian textile assault in July and August and I agree. If you want lots of company on the bare bottoms front, the area maybe 350 meters on either side of Vogamari are great, but there are plenty of others. There are any number of Beach restaurants, kiosks and bars on Migjorn. Most range from acceptable to quite good. My friend & I went on a boat trip from Es Canar to Formentera. The staff on the boat sold us 2 blue bus tickets to see 2 beaches. But sadly after 2nd beach the driver would not let us back on the bus. We were told we had to wait till 4:30pm to get a bus back to the harbour. As the time by this time was 3:30pm. We had to get a taxi back. Which we were not happy about. So please ask and make sure you are going to be picked from the second beach. Do not go for the 3:15pm Bus you will not be allowed on. So pay extra for the green ticket. We wasn't offered this. …

You can walk there from the town or you can rent a bike to get here.It is well worth a visit.Though, be prepared, there are no shades:)…

Formentera is without doubt, worth an early start to catch one of the frequent ferries from Ibiza Island. The boat will cost around €20 return and there is a good mix of places to eat and drink for all budgets. The main reason to visit this island is for the beaches. Car/scooter hire is available and there is a bus service around the island's 4 main roads! A little bit of Spanish capability is useful here as its not as multi-lingual as mainland Ibiza. If you own a boat, there are easy anchorages at all beaches and water taxis to the bars!…

Formentera beaches are well worth the rocky Aquabus trip! If you like your sand white and powdery and your sea a beautiful aquamarine.... Formentera is the place for you. The small island is very quiet and chilled. Ideal for an escape from the hustle and bustle of Ibiza town.
