The beach at Playa Patalavaca is black volcanic sand but it is a pleasant place to spend and afternoon sunbathing or swimming in the shallow bay. There is a lifeguard on duty and there are public toilets available. This beach is popular with the local...More

This little beach has a great mix of people on a Sunday. Easy parking or short walk from bus stop. Amenities abound. And there’s a good swell for body surfing. If you prefer a calmer sea then Anfi, a protected beach, is only a short...More

A favourite spot of ours, hugely popular with locals, best reached on foot. Always a bit of wave action in the sea, in contrast to the more sanitised Anfi beach. Shops, small supermarket & restaurants nearby

Outside Anfi this is the good public beach, well maintained with rescue guards on service. The sand is volcanic dark but pleasant. The surf can be tough and clear rip tides on both sides so parents beware of their children's play. Sun beds and parasols...More

Great holiday location. Nice for walking around, swimming in the sea, lots of water activities possible. Surrounded by restaurants and ice creamstands and some shopping. They could improve on the placement of their beachvolleyball court... where quite a big rock is placed under the sand....More
