It's hard to remember what I expected here because this place exceeded any expectations I had to begin with. The grounds are magnificent, and the recorded audio guides give a lot of detail on the different types of palms, sugar canes...so much so we ended...More

Well worth getting away from the beautiful beaches of Martinique for a few hours to visit this historic plantation. We especially liked the pictures of the employees who worked for many years at the plantation, the house, the art exhibition, the gardens... and the rum!

Didn't really see any of the "plantation" but there is lovely vegetation and the original (??) house is like a mini-museum. Very interesting and nice to explore

The complete explanation of how to make rum from sugar cane juice - together with the shop to sample the products. They also have a small art gallery and a park for kids - and grown ups - to run around.

I don't remember seeing any. Most visitors had rented cars or came in on tour buses. The area is pretty remote, there were no taxis waiting.
