    Beautiful little market
Just a cute little roadside Cafe with drinks, limited menu and a small store with knick nacks and ice cream. The highlight was the cute little family that owns the market and of course the donkey Marco. My son still mentions Marco every now and then :) if you want an authentic experience in a family owned market, please stop. Make the effort to talk to Maria the owner. She is lovely.

    Fabulous Lunch at Faros Market
If you are looking for a relaxed and delicious authentic Greek dining experience, you will love visiting Faros Market. We enjoyed local/homemade cuisine, provided by Maria & Maria♥️. The ladies were lovely, warm and so kind. The food was deliciously prepared and infused with the local flavors or the Greek islands. The outdoor seating area is charming and shaded, and has a beautiful view of the Sea. Marco, who is their donkey; is also very welcoming; and he is enjoying his best life in a sweet little stall on the side of the property, where you are allowed to give him some treats and some love🫶🏼. The overall experience at Faros Market was amazing, delicious, easy and so relaxing. Please make this a MUST,for a relaxed afternoon lunch or drink/snack. They have local delicacies that are pre-packaged and ready to take home, along with other small gift offerings. It was such a treat to meet Maria, Maria & Marco♥️🇬🇷 This is an easy MUST VISIT to experience Santorini like a local! Thank you!

Highlight of our 5 day stay on Santorini
Our family of 10 adults and 1 infant had an amazing time at Maria's cooking class! She was so friendly, fun and welcoming and our meal was divine! We loved everything we made and she generously shared her recipes with us so we can recreate them at home. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset from her vineyard and loved sampling the family's homemade wine. A special treat was the birthday cake she provided for my niece and her two young sons who provided music for us after dinner! Everyone agreed that Maria's cooking class was the highlight of our 5 day stay on Santorini. The many products in her shop were reasonably priced and we were glad to stock up on some souvenirs to bring home! Thank you Maria for the wonderful experience! Highly recommend this to anyone coming to Santorini, you won't be disappointed!

We took the Greek cuisine course with Maria, what a lovely experience ! She showed us how to cook stuffed vines leaf, greek salad, tomato fritters and homemade tzatziki . We enjoyed every minute of it. She is passionate about cooking and we learned a lot about the history of her family and about the Island 🫶🇬🇷♥️

I have never eaten such amazing food. Everything is homemade, even the wine. My best experience in Santorini and I urge anyone visiting this beautiful island to visit this restaurant at least once although I don't think you'll want to eat anywhere else after this experience xx

At Faros Market you can expect a very warm welcome from the family. The food is amazing. And the sunset from their veranda is the best on the island. We visit every year because it's the best place to visit 💕

Wonderful, freshly prepared food made by the owner Maria and her family. We stopped here for lunch which was delicious. There is also a small shop which sells local produce which we couldn’t resist. It would be easy to drive by and miss this place by I high,y recommend you stop by even if only to say hi to Marcos the family donkey!

The owner Maria & her family oversee this beautiful estate, bistro, market & the real prize is the "cooking class" after you enjoy the private tour & history of their heritage which dates back for many generations, their wine they produce there on site as well as all their produce, I loved the "watermelon marries the pumpkin" story ! We had such a wonderful relaxing time in her home on the sunporch making Tzatziki, sweet tomato & onion fritters, dolmades & of course a Greek salad... we had so much fun hearing about her rich culture & imparting her helpful nuances in prepping the dishes we were cooking. we then enjoyed our lovely dinner watching the sun set over the Aegean sea... it was surreal, one of the best experiences ever !! We can not wait to go back & bring our friends, S' Agapo Maria ...xo Efcharisto
