It was a bit crowded but after all the place is so beautiful and relaxing that we stayed almost 3 hours. Go there when it's grey-rainy, it's even better. We appreciated it more than nostra terra

I hadn't been back here since I was a kid when it was free and just the river were I would swim with my friends. What they did with the place was amazing. Beautiful pools of hot water with stunning flowers and green space.

For a very reasonable price you get a natural spa. The pools temperature varies from 28°C to 39°C and you will be in the middle of luxuriant vegetation. It opens till late, so you can also do a late visit. In Holliday's it could be...More

Visited with friends in the evening, 4€ entrance fee was reasonable. Lockers were available for 1€ and either a 20€ deposit or car key. This is to ensure that you return the waterproof RFID card which opens the lockers. Vestibules are free to use so...More

This is definitely a nice experience. Immaculate and very nicely maintained. I would recommend you go when it's not so hot out as the water is 39 degrees celsius. It is overcrowded. There are about 4 or 5 pools (natural hot tubs) they are pretty...More

This was a very cheap way to experience the hot baths. They should improve the place where people change their clothes and put in place some locker rooms. Other than that it was a fun place to chill for a bit.

Having loved a walk round Lake Furnas we fancied something slower paced and Poca Da Dona Beija was highly recommended on this site. We loved the unusual (for someone from the UK!) experience. A series of outdoor spa pools, each with an individual characteristic singling...More

Very decent fit out for a limited number of guests. The high iron-content of water settles on the edges of stones, people rub it on their faces and necks for it is good to rejuvenate skin. As a consequence, rust-coloured faces around you... Several little...More

Hi, we were there in March. Although a little busy, it was still very enjoyable. It's such a nice environment that everyone is pretty relaxed. There were a few children there but they all seemed to be on their best behaviour... More

I found the cooler pool at the end of the path less crowded, it's quite pretty with a natural waterfall at one end and warm water spouts if you find the pool too cool.
