Another choice of destination when you are stranded in Batanes due to travel cancellation. A short prayer in this very quiet church is truly felt as solemn. Not that grand compared to other old churches but it is a marvel.

Probably the best looking church we've seen in Batanes. Very clean, shiny floors and walls, and nice surrounding. Located in the heart of Basco town proper. Very good architectural design and looks newly painted when we got there last May 21, 2018.

An old church preserve in time. A must visit when travelling in Batanes. The design of the church is awesome but simple.

It's so relaxing here. Just to pray by yourself, or attend mass. It's simple, but still find peace, and let all your worries go away.

The simplest cathedral i haveve ever been to. Dont expect much, just admire what the ivatan people have been able to accomplish with so little resources.

We rented a motorbike at Petron, the only gas station of Basco. It was the best P125/hour money spent. We were able to drive/ride the most of the coastal roads from Piers to the Rolling Hills. Amidst the drive, we stopped at these lovely churches,...More

Several entrances available. When ever you visit members will be in the church. The Alter is in fantastic condition, the best I have seen. Great stained glass windows with good lighting to show it off. Lots of fans to keep it comfortable.
