My family lives in Reunion and I go and visit often. La Saline is my favourite for snorkelling, especially on the right hand side of the beach restaurant Copacabana, when facing the ocean. I see new fish every time. This year, I was there with...More

Loved this beach - quieter than the neighbouring L'Ermitage and equal to better snorkelling if you find the right spots. Water felt safe, although there is a light current. There's a few nice restaurants in the village as well as a couple decent beach bars....More

Lovely beach with nice calm water in the lagoon, where it was safe for young children to swim. Great for snorkelling and the beach runs for miles so you can take lovely walks along it. Great for sunset views too.

This is my favourite beach for snorkling or late night swim in the west coast. Easy access with parking in the main street behind.

Buses are very cheap in Reunion, 2 euros with the yellow buses "car jaunes" for single journeys. You can use the same ticket to go to different places within 3 hours. It would not take long to go from Le Port to la Saline... More
