Very friendly environment and the winery is a traditional family business. The wines are really good. You can feel the quality. They produce world class wines and they do a lot of exports. My George is very friendly. Don't forget to taste and buy assyrtiko.

This was a great visit. Rocked up a a lovely lady showed us around whilst sharing some information and answering questions. Then we did a tasting which is a simple little format of EUR1-2 per glass. Then we bought some wine, then we left. I was happy.

You must visit this winery When you are in Santorini. George Gavalas is a great host, and this is a great way to spend a few relaxed hours. I cannot say enough good things about the George Gavalas Winery!

We sort of wandered into this place by accident in the middle of the afternoon. What a delightful accident! It was nearly empty but sure enough they offered us some very affordable wines to taste. I really liked the "natural ferment" wine. Personally, I don't know a lot about wine but I do love farmhouse beers so I appreciated the... More

I enjoyed this, the second of our winery visits with Premier Tours. The tour was certainly the best part of the visit and learning about how the wine is made. It was also good to see how they honour tradition to this day. The actual wines were mixed, however the Vinsanto (our favourite) was good. The food on this occasion... More

Beautiful winery located in Santorini. My wife and I enjoyed the wines very much. Met the owner, Mr. Gavalas and he was a very nice gentleman. The staff was very friendly. Overall, an amazing experience.

This is a very nice family run winery which offers tasters for €1.50 of their delicious wines along with an interesting bit of the history from their friendly staff. Worth a visit!

Very friendly staff, limited selection of wines to try, but that includes several whites that are worth tasting. Good spot to gain some know, edge on the local wines.

This winery was much smaller than the others we visited on the island but it definitely reflects the fact that it has been in the same family for a couple of hundred years! I think they are known for making wines with rarer types of grapes. We tried six wines here but my favourite was their dessert wine - which... More
