It is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, in the summer months you can find it sometimes crowded but the excursion in the is really worth it.
In Riva you can even find medium-sized fish - absolutely harmless - to keep you company.
In the immediate vicinity you will find a magnificent restaurant that will leave you speechless.

Arrived around 930 with two umbrellas and lots of water. Large free beach practically deserted. On the shore there is a slippery strip of rock, walking towards the end of the beach moves away from the shore. Clear water for wonderful baths. There is a place of excellent grilled fish for lunch, Recommendation to go to 12 and queue to enter at 1230, otherwise the wait is much longer, so you could stay a full day at the beach, we cmq preferred to return.
Along the way to get there I felt very sorry for those sheep and goats, even a cow, under the scorching sun, among dry shrubs without water and shelter, there are many places where they see themselves like this, I wonder why ..

That was my favorite on Mykonos. The most beautiful beach in my opinion! There is no deckchair so we have more natural beauty. There is a small discreet cove downstairs from Kiki’s tavern restaurant next to the large beach that alone is worth the trip. Not to be missed!

Beach without sunbeds with enough people who want to relax! Because it's a big beach people don't bother you.
Beautiful clouds, great sand, the sea inside is fun, but it doesn't bother you or slide.
Easy related parking with a little walk to reach the beach.
The view from above is incredible. Although there was air on the island, the sea is protected and there is no wave.

Another super beach without beach club. Those looking for bars and equipped beaches are not for them. There's nothing, just beautiful nature. Presence of nudists. Avoid the beach if there is meltemi wind. You park on the street

Beautiful beach in Mykonos; natural, unequipped, wild, in the middle of nowhere. (free) Spectacular and always calm sea; I had read about windy beaches, but I didn't encounter this problem. It is easily accessible on foot after parking on the street. If you have a quad or scooter you can go down and park a little closer to the path. A little more complicated if you have a stroller or small children, but with a little attention you can get there. There are no bars or kiosks (there is only a tavern where they say you can eat very well); this is certainly the case, but we have never managed to do so given the endless queue.

Free, beautiful, long and wild beach. It was recommended for non-windy days.
Clean and crystalline sea but with rocks near the shore.
The road to get there is a bit steep.
Free parking along the street.
The Kiki's Taverna restaurant adjacent to the beach is highly recommended.

This is the beach for those who prefer natural beaches, without sunbeds & umbrellas, with long coastline and beautiful golden sand to drop your towels and lay under the Greek sun! The beach is divided in 2 parts by a natural small block of rocks, the left side is a small beach where older people or families usually sit, and the right side is a huge coastline stretching for 2km, where younger people and couples usually go, even with a nudist part at the far east of side of the beach.
The beach is 20 minutes drive from the island's centre, but easy to find (just 1km after Panormos beach with Principote beach restaurant). There is a parking spot above the beach, but it is always full so best solution is to just park your car on the side of the road above the beach. Everyone does this, so you will notice a huge line of parked cars on the side of the road.
There is a small local traditional tavern (Kiki's Tavern) right on the hill of Agios Sostis Beach, but they do not make reservations and there is a huge waiting line (approx. 2 hours of waiting to be sitted). The food is great, and the fish is fresh, but 2 hours is just too much. Best to bring your own snack and enjoy the lovely beach.

Nice beach but this sloping path to get to the beach a bit bustling if you have kids. Personally we with three children 6 and 7 years old and loaded with umbrellas and chairs during the descent slid sometimes the one time the other. bad experience

This is our favorite beach in Mykonos, because it is popular for Greek people.
The bay has a nice view, on the hill you have the famous Nikki's Taverne for lunch.
There are no sunbeds and no embrella's so bring your own! There is always someone passing by with cooled drinks, 3 € for a coca cola or a beer. It is not crowded and you need a car to get there.
Highly recommended beach!

No, this a no frills beach without any nearby establishments except for Kiki's tavern which is uphill from the beach. I don't know if the owner would be open to you using it if you are not a customer.

How far is the walk from the nearest town? Or do taxis run out to this beach. I am wondering if there is a place in the closest town to rent an umbrella and take it along.
thanks,
