In terms of nature, the place is beautiful, the river has crystal clear waters and the forest is native and dense, it shows that it has been slightly intervened.
Now, in terms of service, it has a lot to improve... It cost me 10,000 per person, which is basically what they charge to take you by boat to the hot springs round trip (a trip of no more than 5 minutes).
The state of the roads and services in the hot springs is in terrible condition, apart from the fact that the dressing rooms and bathroom are completely rustic modules and without regular cleaning maintenance, the bridges and handrails on the path are loose or broken, so I do not recommend going. with people with reduced mobility.
The car must be left in a parking lot above (500 meters), controlled by another of the families that manages the place and they charge you an additional $2500. To go down to the place where you cross by boat, you have to go down a very steep dirt road in poor condition.
The hot springs are actually small, very rustic pools made by hand with a shovel by the people who visit the place and the families who manage them. When I went there were only two wells with hot water, which rotated among the people who were in the place, a maximum of 3 people fit per well, being well together.
The water from the wells is not treated so it has a strong smell of sulfur and a kind of smear, which personally does not bother me because it is part of the charm of the place.
One element that I did not like is that when we returned, the gentleman from the boat took more than 7 people (plus luggage) onto the boat, which was wobbly. The prices have also risen a lot, the first time I went 6 years ago it cost 3 thousand pesos to enter

Me decepcionó

The Ralun Hot Springs are great. I went with my family, including grandparents and children, and we all loved it. The place is super quiet and has a super good energy. Furthermore, although it does not have a clear owner, the people who work there, such as those who take care of the parking lot and manage transportation, are super friendly and always willing to help. We will definitely go again :)

They charge you $10,000 per person, for a crossing of less than three minutes. The hot springs are two holes and a pool that you have to share unhealthily with many people.
Expensive and bad.
100% not recommended.
