We began our trip in Naryn City and found a taxi driver to take us to Eki Naryn. The ride was about an hour, and many beautiful views were along the way.

Driving East, about a half kilometer before the first switchback, there’s a fantastic area with a rock that sticks out over the river. It’s a great place to enjoy the river and take some pictures.

The coordinates are approximately (41.4937439, 76.4239615).

After this, we headed to the lower area and began hiking right after the bridge. The coordinates are (41.4959168, 76.4250716). We only saw three or four other people who were locals herding sheep. It wasn’t that cold, and we brought food for a small picnic by the river. It was a peaceful getaway from Naryn and Bishkek.

There are no fences or safeguards at the edge of the cliffs, so I’d be cautious if I had a pet or child with me.

There’s also an interesting “swastica forest” visible from the road on the way back to Naryn.

The Eki-Naryn Valley is a beautiful and wild corner of Kyrgyzstan. Just past the village of Eki-Naryn, the road narrows and the forests come right down to the road. Akel's Yurt Camp lies just on the other side of the first bridge past the Village of Eki-Naryn and serves as a good base camp for exploring the area. Kubat Tour or CBT Naryn in Naryn City can arrange transportation and make reservations.

In Kyrgyz Eki Naryn means Two Naryn its where the who largest rivers in Naryn come together to create the Naryn River.

The views are really nice and worth seeing. It was cool to go horse back riding in this area with Kubat Tour Company.

On the last day of my stay I became very sick: stomach pain, high temperature, so weak I could not walk. No help was offered, not even a cup of tea or water brought. Akyl on his way to the city took me with him (I paid for tge ride ofcourse) and literally kicked me out of the car around the corner. In my opinion he is only interested in making money, so if you are looking for traditional, Kyrgyzstan hospitality avoid Akyl's yurt camp. You are just like cattle for him: meant to bring profit, if a tourist passes out on his doorstep - no problem, another will soon come...

This is one of many pleasant valleys that abound in Kyrghystan.
There are wonderful view points along the gravel road.

This is as amazing valley in Kyrgyzstan with some interesting history. There is a camp there as well that we visited but didn’t stay at where everyone is very welcoming and they look to do it all for you.

If you have a chance to visit that place, just take the opportunity to go up to the pastures. The view of the mountain is fantastic. I went there after a tough day at work and after my visit my mood was completely changed. Also some Kyrgyz friends told my that the forest in a nearby village was planted by some German prisoners during the WWII. That s probably why the trees are planted in a very interestingway.
