We took the cable car up Marmolada in August. The views were fabulous! Be warned that the weather conditions will be much cooler at altitude (a layer covering the legs and arms was comfortable, though not strictly necessary, on a hot summer day). At the top, you can stay on the viewing platform or walk out onto the snow field.... More

I totaly love it! This is a must see! I have never made a snowman in summer before! It was perfect! I recommend to go there on sunny days to see the view around!

A must place to visit in the Dolomites. Been there on July. Was funny touching snow and walking in a fog in July. Great fun for kids. The view is breathtaking on both ways. The ride itself is worth it. I guess that during winter it's colder and can only imagine the beauty of it

Skiing at its best! But besides skiing Marmolada offers great views for non-skiers too! Assuming you can enjoy the view in high wind at -20 degrees of Celsius :-)

Guaranteed to feel on top of the world whenever you get out of the third lift at over 3300 metres asl. The view from the top is so special that you have to force yourself to put your skis on and plunge down the 11 km slope to the start of the ski lift for the trip up again. Visiting... More

This is really HIGH mountain and not a playground. I was there just twice during winter holidays. It is easy to reach the top with ropeway. During your trip you can also visit a small museum on a station. It is cold and windy on the top. If you have good conditions, skiing down is a real pleasure. Don’t go... More

One of the best ski tracks in Alps. Very long, wide and with amazing views. To enjoy it to the max make sure you are on the top at least the first :) The condition may get bad just after 1 hour of usage so wake up early and take one of the first funiculars up around 8:30 and enjoy!

I don't know - maybe I was not lucky, but the ski track was not prepared. There were a lot of moguls (bumps) with amplitude of 0,5 m! This ski track would have been very nice if it had been prepared. The queue to the cable car was very long (about 40 minutes waiting)
