After 2 weeks travelling in Myanmar it is good to have a quiet place at the sea too relax. It is a 5 hours trip from Yangon on a simple bad road. Do nit come for two days but stay longer. We took the asian dragon bus. Luxery bus. The bus brings you to your hotel. 10 km beach, clean... More

I was going by scoter to this village. I takes about 1 and a half hour. It is a sandy road so you can't drive fast. The village is very interesting to see how the prepare the fishes. One the way back i stopped on the beaches. No one there in several places.

We loved the views. However, you cannot really swim there, the boats with their fricken Banana rides come so close and so fast at you that you really fear for your life. Those guys are brain dead! in addition you have other idiots on Jetskis doing the same. Meanwhile, they are also driving with their scooters and ATV across the... More

Ngwe Saung beach is very nice. Although it's full of resorts, it's still nice to see the real Myanmar there. Locals hanging around on the beach and people selling coconuts! We went on a snorkeling trip with Mr Win (just ask the people, everybody knows mr Win, but also check his website because there are people pretending to be Mr... More

Ngwe Saung, the beach that I ever want want to go again whenever I have a chance to choose a beach. Clean and wide sand beach is letting me enjoy playing foot-ball with my friends. When getting tired, all I have to do is jump into the sea. Please be careful with the food. Sea water, coconut water and the... More

Beautiful beach with clear water. Perfect for a relaxing holiday away from crowds. The area doesn't offer much of the typical amusement of other nearby countries like bars, girls, massage spas and shopping, so don't go there if you're aiming at those things. It's a family friendly place where you can enjoy thr beach, beatiful sunsets, great food, amazingly friendly... More

Ngwe Saung is the emptiest beach I ever seen in Asia. Sandy beach with calm sea, loss of tourist. A paradise on earth. This is a challenge to get there, but it is worth.

This beach is located directly west of Yangon, also on the Bay of Bengal. On some few days, domestic airline Air Bagan, will be flying to the city of Pathein during the peak season (please check with us for schedule). From Pathein the guest will transfer by car to the beach. The road from Pathein to Ngwe Saung beach takes... More

A long wide breach, and warm sea! Several hotels with direct access, with sun beds and shade. The resort has lots of little shops, with hats, plastic toys for children etc. Numerous places to eat, a few restaurants with 'fire dancing' entertainment but no noisy nightlife. Perfect for couples and families fr a peaceful time. NB there are a couple... More
