Nice stop in the area

We visit this little park every time we are in the area. Our kids like it. They know it from when they were little.

The park is situated on the main road between Gmund and Malta town. You and especially baby and children can stay directly on contact with donkeys, lama, goats and see very close pig, and other farmland animals. Very good experience.

A great park with more than just donkeys, there are over 100 animals and birds, beautiful peacocks and the cutest baby donkeys, the latest addition to the park are a couple of female camels. A great place to unwind and they even supply brushes for the donkeys and friends, definitely a must see for children of All ages!

Even if the place is called Eselpark (Donkeypark), there is many other animals you can see: poneys, camels, lamas, goats, birds, small pets...and most of them are running around freely, so you can enjoy a personal contact touching or feeding them or just taking a photo with some cute furry face. :) It´s possible to buy the carrots to feed... We found this place by accident whilst staying locally in Malta, my partner is a big fan of horses and donkeys and we got to interact with them and pet them. It was a great start to our holiday in Austria and really set the pace for the next few days. Well worth a visit for big and small children... More

100% cuteness represented. Animal/bird count is over 100, so everybody should be able to find their own favorite. Park is open from mid-April to mid-September, in October open only if the weather is good. Highly recommended.
