Our first visit to Newark, and called in this church on recommendation of the tourism office. Beautiful architecture and stained glass. St Georges Chapel emotive with the dedications and information board about WW1 & WW2 soldiers. Recommend a visit here.

Nice church with some very helpful and friendly volunteers. Burial place of Lord Byron and Ada Lovelace, and there are some impressive memorials to them and lots of information, including on the composer Eric Coates who lived in the village.
