The park itself was incredibly beautiful. Wonderful trails to hike, great campsites and great view from the lookouts, but if your furry four legged friend is your inseparable camping partner, please avoid this park. We were camping there last fall and fellow campers warned us...More

We were warned by other campers about deer ticks at this park, and we were extremely cautious(not going in tall grass, sticking to the trail path, no hiking). It didn't make a difference as my husband still ended up getting bit by a deer tick....More

We have held family reunions at this park for quite a few years, and it is always a blast. The park wardens can get a bit anal about singing after a certain time of night, but it is a beautiful park, campsites are fairly large,...More

Pick on of the backwoods campsites. Ours at Covey's gap has our own privy, waterfront and fire pits. There are 10' x 10' platforms to pitch your tent and picnic tables. Pick up your firewood at the main office.

Charleston Lake Provincial Park is one of my very favourite provincial parks - and we camp in them or visit several per summer with our 9-year-old twins. It is gorgeous! We have our own canoe and there is so much to explore. The lake is...More

This Park offers something for everyone - camping, swimming, hiking, nature displays. Plan on spending the day to make it worth the admission price.

This is a fantastic and large park. We've stayed here before and, in both instances, we've enjoyed our visit. I would say that this is truly a hidden gem at just a 2 hr drive from home.

Our reservations did not disappoint. No problem with locating our 5th wheel on our site and accessing the power post. Remember to either bring water with you or fill at the dump station on the way to your campsite. There are no taps (with acceptable...More
