When we first visited here the gardens were for free and you only paid to visit the house. They always had a shop near reception and a restaurant which is obviously where they got their money back. They now charge an amazing €25 for both house and gardens (used to be €12 for the house). To visit the gardens on... More

A beautiful restaurant in a beautiful garden setting. Unless you particularly want to see the rooms in the palazzo itself - and to be honest there's not a lot to see - save yourself the entrance fee and go into the Luna restaurant next door which gives you access to the gardens and enjoy a snack, meal, drink on beautiful... We visited today and although expensive for what it is we took the tour of the palace (a few rooms) on the basis that we could have lunch in the restaurant outside afterwards. When we went for lunch we were told the only table they could give us was in blazing sunshine as the other empty tables in the shade... More

I went to the tea garden, for a birthday surprise. The variety of teas and high-tea food was a bliss

If you owned this superb old palace, you would immeditally bolt the front doors and keep everyone else out. Happily the mother and daughter owners have turned it into a superb restaurant and museum. The gardens are also wonderful. But on a sunny and warm day lunch in the garden under a sprawling tent is where you want to be.... More

We have visited this Pallazzo on numerous occasions and it has always been free to enter the gardens. We have always had a nice stroll round the gardens, which are pleasant, but not particularly large. We have then sometimes gone to the restaurant and/or to the shop. On our latest visit we noticed they have introduced an admission charge of... More

The ticket (15€) is too expensive, just to see 4 rooms and gardens. The gardens are good but is a bit expensive.

The Palazzo Parisio is located in the city of Naxxar, directly opposite of the main church of Naxxar. From the outside you would say it is a normal building and town house in the Maltese style. But just after entering through the huge glass front door you will see that this is really a unique and special place. Decorated with... More

Lovely gardens to visit and a very ornate and beautiful house. It's on a roundabout so you have to park a short distance away. Bit pricey though.

Our first visit, although we visit Malta very regularly, and we were not disappointed. A truly beautiful Palazzo with such a steep and important history. We were guided by Nicholas, who was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Do try and be guided as Nicholas pointed out so much in each room that we would never have either seen or understood. He... More
