We visited Sian Ka'an in June with two boys age 8 & 11. The trip was arranged by a cap driver we met the day before. We had planned to use one hotel to plan the trip but it was very expensive. The cap driver...More

We went on a day trip to Sian Ka'an whilst staying at Akumal Bay. We didn't book the Thomas Cook trip, but instead took the 'rustic' trip booked through the hotel's agent. It certainly didnt disappoint. It was an early pickup (6.15) and a drive...More

We were driving down by Tulum and stumbled upon the road that lead to Sain Ka'an. We had no idea it was tucked away along the coast and we have been traveling the area for twenty years. The water is majestic and the wildlife abundant....More

Although most people say it's a rough pad it isn't so bad, the way is just bumpy, you don't need a 4x4 jeep, you can even rent a car and go slowly, and there is just one straight way from Tulum to Punta Allen. Pay...More

Hi! We didn't go through Pastor Caamal, that's another way to get into the biosphere. We've read that if you're on that end, it's easiest to rent a car although the road is pretty rough, or there's a collectivo you could... More
